Privacy Notice
This notice explains, in plain language, what personal data Monteque collects when you register for our launch announcement, why we collect it, and the rights you have. It is written to meet the requirements of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we collect
When you register, we collect only what is needed to keep you informed:
- your first name
- your last name
- your email address
- the date and time you gave your consent, and the version of the consent wording you accepted
Like any website, our hosting provider briefly processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the page and protect it against abuse. We do not use this to identify you.
Why we use it
We use your name and email address to send you our launch announcement and, after that, occasional news about Monteque products. We do not sell your data, share it for others’ marketing, or use it for profiling.
Legal basis
We process your registration data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; under the Swiss nFADP, your consent and the purpose communicated to you here). You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.
The short-lived technical data mentioned above is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Where your data is stored and who processes it
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and under contract with us:
- Vercel Inc. (USA) hosts this website and runs the server function that receives your registration. Our function runs in Vercel’s Frankfurt (EU) region.
- Supabase Inc. (USA) provides the database in which your registration is stored. The database is located in Zurich, Switzerland.
Because these providers are US companies, your data may be accessed from the United States. Where this happens, it is protected by the EU–US and Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework (where the provider is certified) and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, as recognised by the Swiss FDPIC.
If we use an email delivery service to send our announcement, we will name it in this notice before the first mailing.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration until you withdraw your consent. If we no longer need it — for example if the launch announcement and product news are discontinued — we delete it within 24 months at the latest.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted
- withdraw your consent at any time
- receive your data in a structured, commonly used format (data portability)
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch); in the EU, the data protection authority of the country where you live or work
We will answer your request within 30 days.
How to unsubscribe or request deletion
Write to info@monteque.ch and we will remove you promptly. Every email we send will also include a link to unsubscribe.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics or any other tracking technology, and our fonts are hosted on our own server. If this ever changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
Security
Your data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored in a database that is accessible only to our server and to authorised members of our team.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
